2016 bio

 

Martin is best known for his alter ego, Bunny Galore.

 

Bunny hosts the cult movie show 'Movie Nightmares' on the Showcase TV channel which is now in its third series. The show airs weekly with Bunny bringing the best in good bad movies to the viewing public.

 

Martin wrote and produced the comedy soap opera Pantry Manor featuring Bunny Galore which is now running on the American channel OSI 74.

 

For 10 years Bunny performed in the west end burlesque revue show Lady Alex's THE WAM BAM CLUB at the London Hippodrome and Café de Paris. and has just started its first UK tour in 2017

 

Other TV appearences include Bunny hosting the 4 part tv series ShocktoberFest on Brightons Latest TV and her own show Hotel Cinematic on the same channel .

 

Also the popular series “Bargain Hunt” for BBC , “Cherry Healey Like a Virgin” for BBC3, “Top Dog Model” for ITV2, the “Friday Night Project” for Channel 4 (when David Tennant guest starred in a special matinee of Cinderella) ,“Children In Need” for the BBC and was interviewed about his career in pantomime as part of the documentary series What Brits Love. He's also appeared in episode of “TeamXreme”

 

2016 was Martin's 22nd pantomime season, returning to The Capitol Horsham, one of his favourite theatres.

Having appeared here in Cinderella with Faith Brown and Snow White with Sandra Dickenson.

Pantomime History

His first pantomime dame was the title role in Mother Goose (Electric theatre, Guildford) then Liza DoLittle in Peter Pan (Woodvilles Halls, Gravesend), Mrs Crusoe in Robinson Crusoe (Oakwood Theme Park), Sarah the Cook in Dick Whittington (Civic Centre, Doncaster), then Ugly Sister in Cinderella (The Capitol, Horesham) Martin was invited back to Horsham and as Dame Doris Dumpling in Snow White.

 

His first Ugly sister with David Robbins in Cinderella was Eddie Hardup (Woodvilles Halls) then Susannah Hardup in Cinderella (Broadway theatre, Catford)

 

Martin and David first joined Qdos's Cinderella five years ago as Susannah and Trinny Hardup with Basil Brush (St Albans Arena). Then with Lesley Joseph as fairy godmother in Cinderella (Theatre Royal Plymouth) and the whole cast reprised they’re successful Plymouth show at The Orchard Dartford. Then they appeared with Linda Lucardi and Sam Kane in Llandudno and a record smashing season at the Birmigham Hippodrome with Brian Conley, Lynda Bellingham and once again Basil Brush, In Nottingham with John Partridge and Shelia Fergasan, and in High Wycombe with Shane Richie.  Reuntied in Southampton with Brian Conley and first time work with the Legendary Gok Wan, and Southend with Brian once more time and the lovely Lesley Joseph.

 

2016 saw his return to Horsham as the Widow Twanky for his very first Aladdin.
